Its excellent for tightening and toning those small stubborn fat areas to give your body that finale look after weight loss, combating cellulite, maintaining liposuction surgery results, and toning saggy skin.

HOW IT WORKS
VelaShape technology uses a combination of infrared light, bi-polar radio frequency energy, and vacuum to cause deep heating of the fat cells, connective tissue surrounding them, and the underlying dermal collagen fibers. This type of effective heating stimulates the growth of new and improved collagen and elastin, resulting in a localized reduction in skin laxity, body volume, and an overall improvement in skin structure and texture.
How Often Can I Get Treatments?
It is recommended that you do your sessions twice per week. You must put a minimum of 2-3 days in between your treatments.
Some clients prefer to come 3 times per week with a 2-3 day in between each session so that they can complete their treatment course over a shorter period of time.
Am I a Good Candidate for Velashape?
VelaShape is not a weight loss treatment. VelaShape uses a combination of technologies to contour your body, reducing the trouble spots that diet and exercise can’t reach. The ideal VelaShape patient is someone with a BMI (Body Mass Index) of less than 30, who falls under The Nurnberger-Muller Cellulite Classification Stage 1 and 2. Ask your doctor to see if you're a candidate for VelaShape treatments.
The Nurnberger-Muller Cellulite Classification Scale
Stage 1
NO dimpling while the patient is standing or lying down, but the pinch test reveals the "orange peel" appearance.
Stage 2
"Orange peel" dimpling appears spontaneously when standing up, but NOT when lying down.
Stage 3
"Orange peel" dimpling appears spontaneously both when standing up AND lying down.
What is Cellulite?
We hear about it all the time. But, what exactly is cellulite? It has a lot to do with fat cells. Our skin is tethered to underlying muscles through fibrous connective tissue.
And, when fat cells accumulate, they can interfere with this connection. It's like trying to cram too many things into one given area.
Eventually, the fat cells start to push up on the skin, creating that rippled effect known as cellulite. Sometimes, it can be combated through weight loss and exercise.
However, there's a non-invasive, FDA-cleared procedure that can tackle these fat cells and reduce the appearance of cellulite.
How Do I Know If Velashape Laser Lipo will work for me?
When diet and exercise aren't working and you don't want to go under the knife, VelaShape is a great option. Heat, massage, vacuum suction, infrared light, and bipolar radio frequency are all used.
During this simple procedure, a handheld device is placed on the skin and cellulite-causing fat cells are targeted using pulsed vacuum technology, suction against the skin, and massage rollers.
The infrared light and radiofrequency then penetrate the fat cells, perforate the membranes, and cause the fat cells to release fatty acids into the body while shrinking.
As this occurs, collagen production increases, which eventually replaces skin laxity and promotes skin tightening. You can say goodbye to loose skin with a series of short treatments.
How Do The Sessions Work?
Thirty-Minute Sessions
The procedure itself only takes about thirty minutes. Some clients may see results after only four sessions. But, this varies from patient to patient. The number of treatments required depends on the area you'd like to treat, the severity of the area, and the time frame treatments are being completed. Velashape for cellulite is recommended 8-12 sessions twice a week.
During your initial consultation, your technicians will tell you how many treatments you'll need. The location and skin condition are two major factors in this determination. Once this is established, you'll have a treatment plan in place and a lot to look forward to!
Treatment Areas
Cellulite and unwanted small pockets of fat tends to threaten the same areas in all of us. But, the common areas that are treated with VelaShape are:
-
Thighs
-
Buttocks
-
Flank
-
Abdomen
-
Arms
-
Neck
It goes without saying that everyone is unique, so their problem areas are unique. But, again, once a board-certified esthetician has the opportunity to take a look at your individual problem area(s), they'll quickly be able to determine how many sessions are required to achieve optimal results. Visit our powerful before and after photos page or social media to compare.
Side Effects
Since VelaShape is non-invasive, there won't be a lot of trauma to the body. During the treatment, you may feel waves of warmth as the connective tissues and fat cells are heated. But, that's the extent of it.
In the end, there may be redness and minor bruising, but this fades away quite quickly depending on a clients skin and prone to bruising. There's no recovery time or even downtime required. When the area clears, you're well on your way to smoother skin.
Results
At this time, VelaShape technology only shrinks fat cells; it doesn't destroy them completely. So, the best way to prohibit them from regrouping is to pair your procedure with an appropriate weight loss plan.
The good news is, the results will be so appealing that they'll motivate you to endeavor toward a new lifestyle. Still, most patients see results that last for several months even without maintenance treatments.
When paired with maintenance treatments and a healthy lifestyle, your battle against cellulite can greatly reduce, making this simple procedure entirely worth it in the end.
